Confirmation - An Initiation Sacrament

This is the preparation for the second of thee Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist.  The goal is to help the students recognize that Jesus is inviting them, as He did the Apostles to be sealed with the Holy Spirit and be ready to witness to the truth of the Gospel.  There will certainly be an overview of the faith and the teaching of the Church Jesus established, such as the 10 commandments, the Precepts of the Church, the Spiritual and Corporate works of Mercy and looking that History of the Church and her saints.  They will have the opportunity to study and understand the Scriptures and Apostolic Tradition. (see 2 Thes 2:15)  Most importantly the hope is they will deepen their relationship with Jesus and more clearly understand the depth of God's love for us.
