Vote Pro-Life and for the Culture of Life!
Concerning the upcoming elections are some of my personal assessments, some time ago I heard a democratic leader discouraging their potential voters to read articles, in other words they were encouraging them not to be informed.
Catholics have a serious obligation to vote against leaders who support the culture of death. They have a moral obligation to be informed.
From the Church’s Document on procured abortion November 18th, 1974
22. It must in any case be clearly understood that whatever may be laid down by civil law in this matter, man can never obey a law which is in itself immoral, and such is the case of a law which would admit in principle the liceity of abortion. Nor can he take part in a propaganda campaign in favor of such a law, or vote for it. Moreover, he may not collaborate in its application. It is, for instance, inadmissible that doctors or nurses should find themselves obliged to cooperate closely in abortions and have to choose between the law of God and their professional situation.
Catholics have a serious obligation to oppose abortion, some facts, for every 1000 black children born, 420 are aborted, for every 1000 Hispanic Children born, 178 are aborted, for every 1000 white children born, 121 are aborted. These statistics are taken from the centers for Disease control, “Abortion Surveillance US 2013, table 12” a report published in 2016
Excerpt from the 2020 Democratic Platform concerning Judges
We will appoint judges who defend the constitutional principles of liberty and equality for all, and will protect a woman’s right to safe and legal abortion, curb billionaires’ influence over elections because they understand that Citizens United has fundamentally damaged our democracy, and believe the Constitution protects not only the powerful, but also the disadvantaged and powerless.
Excerpt from the 2020 Republican Platform concerning Judges
We support the appointment of judges who respect traditional family values and the sanctity of innocent human life. We oppose the non-consensual withholding or withdrawal of care or treatment, including food and water, from individuals with disabilities, newborns, the elderly, or the infirm, just as we oppose euthanasia and assisted suicide.
